My name is Lauren!

I was born in the UK, growing up in a beautiful thatched village in Devon. I left the UK nearly 8 years ago to travel the world with my husband. We have travelled to over 30 countries in the last 8 years and are now settled in Australia where we decided to make our home for our little family.

I am a qualified Graphic Designer and all round creative, with a BA Honours Degree in Graphic Design with illustration. I have been fortunate enough to have experimented in many areas of Design throughout my years of experience, gaining knowledge across the Design spectrum. I can do everything a Graphic Designer should do- but what makes me different is my personal style that has blossomed over the last decade during my creative adventure with Charleebee Designs.

I can draw; put pen to paper, ink to lino and brush to paint. My style is predominantly handmade and organic- I love to incorporate traditional methods within my design work and experiment with various materials and techniques. 

As well as travelling, I also love spending time with my fur baby-having weekends away in our campervan, walking endlessly on the beach and drinking many puppichinos!

From our travels I am very conscious of the effects us humans have on the planet, especially the beautiful animals that call earth home too. Therefore when I restarted Charleebee Designs in Australia I aimed to create sustainable art where possible. Sourcing sustainable paper and ink options as well as the wood I use and other recycled materials.
